Greenfield supports CADUS in the provision of aid packages and the expansion of intensive care ambulances
The war of aggression against Ukraine has been going on for 5 months now. According to the UN, more than 7.7 million Ukrainians have left their home country so far, and 2.6 million have already returned to Ukraine. The work and support of aid organizations is still needed to protect the people on the ground and provide assistance to those affected.
CADUS is a non-profit and independent aid organization that has been providing emergency medical aid from Berlin and on the ground in Ukraine since the beginning of the war. Together with Greenpeace, CADUS has so far organized 3 aid deliveries, which included medical equipment for wound care and general medical supplies.
With the help of Emergency Medical Teams (EMTs), CADUS is helping to evacuate patients who require long-term medical care. They are transported in specially equipped ambulances from endangered areas to safe hospitals in western Ukraine and Poland.
CADUS also pools resources with EMTs from other countries and carries out joint missions to build reliable structures for the future. The aid organization is working tirelessly to bring more vehicles and teams into the field with the help of donations.
Greenfield is donating €30,000 to CADUS to equip additional ambulances for intensive care transport. Specifically, our donation will enable the purchase of special equipment such as perfusor syringe pumps, suction pumps for body fluids and several electronic stretchers to facilitate the transportation of patients. The remaining amount will be used in full for CADUS' administrative costs (office rent, personnel costs, etc.) and the organization of further aid measures.
