Greenfield Technology provides €30,000 to organize aid convoys for affected Ukrainian areas
The war in Ukraine has so far forced more than 3 million people to flee their home country, while many have fled to safety within the country. Regular supply deliveries are necessary in order to justify the continued supply of people.
The sum of 30,000 euros will be donated in full to FECG Meinerzhagen, a Christian congregation in the Sauerland region, which organized convoys with aid packages to affected areas within Ukraine and to refugee camps along the Ukrainian border right at the start of the crisis. Many of the members have roots and family in Ukraine and are working tirelessly to provide further emergency aid for those affected on the ground.
The municipality organizes four types of aid packages: Food, medical, hygiene and baby packages. With the help of our donation, those responsible are able to procure further urgently needed food parcels and send them to the affected areas as quickly as possible. We are delighted that many Greenfield employees are also taking part in the campaign in the form of donations in kind and money!
If you would also like to contribute to donations for Ukraine, we would like to draw your attention to the fundraising campaign of Kirche für Oberberg e.V. (Church for Oberberg). The Christian community has been involved in humanitarian work in Ukraine since 2014 and is supporting the reconstruction of houses and the establishment of children's camps and youth cafés. The community is also now on site with aid workers and is supporting the people there with relief supplies financed by donations. 100% of the donations received are therefore used for aid measures in war-affected areas of Ukraine.
